The following Terms and Conditions apply for all purchases of MJMEnergy (hereafter MJM, the Company or We) Public Training Courses or Online Training Courses.
All Public and Online Training Courses are sold in GBP and subject to UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. EU companies providing us with a valid EU VAT number will not be charged VAT.
We expect all invoices to have been paid in full before the start of the Public Training Course to which they apply. A delay of payment must be agreed with MJM in writing/email before the start of the Public Course or the place may be lost.
Participants of Online Training Courses will not be able to access their Training until the invoice is paid.
Registration Packs are sent by email normally a week before the event. In the event that someone other than the delegate makes the booking, the delegate pack will be emailed to that person unless we receive the delegate's own email address. It will be the recipient's responsibility to ensure that the pack is forwarded to the delegate.
On arrival the delegate MUST sign in at reception or with the Course Director.
The dress code for all MJM Public Training Courses is smart casual.
Timetables do vary, but to help with timings for travel etc... delegates are expected to arrive at 0900 and depart by 1730 unless indicated otherwise in Registration Pack.
A delegate may be substituted at any time prior to the start of the Public Training Course at no additional charge, providing we have been informed in writing/email.
A delegate may change to a different date/course at no additional charge providing We have at least twenty one (21) days notice in writing/email of this change. The date/course change is subject to space and availability. If the delegate requests a date/course change with less than twenty one days notice then there will be an additional charge of 50% of the course fee.
A delegate may write/email and cancel their place at any time. If a refund or credit is required MJM request at least twenty one (21) days notice of the cancellation. Any unpaid invoice issued will still be liable and must be settled within the terms of the invoice.
If for any reason the delegate is unable to attend the Public Training Course onto which they are booked and it is after the twenty one day deadline, then We may offer the delegate a place on a future date, subject to availability. This place will be offered at a reduced rate of 50%. Any unpaid invoice issued will still be liable and must be settled within the terms of the invoice.
If you have purchased one of MJM's Online Training Modules and you wish to cancel the purchase you may do so providing the Online Training account has NOT been activated. If it has been activated then no refund is available.
The Course Fee for a Public Training Course includes all Course Materials, refreshments and lunch.
Overnight accommodation may only offered, at an additional charge, to delegates who are attending a Public Training Course that spans two or more days. The additional charge would be to cover bed, breakfast and evening meal and is charged at cost. Alcohol will not be included in this charge. If a delegate wishes to consume any alcohol then they may purchase it themselves.
All delegates must pay for their own bar bills/mini bar/fridges etc and any other extras on leaving the venue. Any unpaid additional delegate expenses will be charged directly to the delegate or their company plus an additional administration charge for time and inconvenience caused to MJM.
Transportation to the venue is the responsibility of the delegate. MJM staff are able to book taxis for the delegate on departure, but the costs are the responsibility of the delegate and not MJM.
Any damages to the venue caused by the delegate must be settled between the delegate and the venue. MJM will not be involved or accept any liability.
The copyright of all course materials given to a delegate of a Public Training Course belongs to MJM and/or their associates. Course materials are for the personal use of the delegate only and may NOT be copied or distributed in any way or form to anybody else.
The copyright of all material used in the Online Training Modules belongs to MJM and/or their associates. The content contained within these modules is for the use of the named delegate only and is not to be copied or distributed to anybody else. Only the named delegate has authorisation to access the Online Training Modules. If MJM has reason to believe that this access is being abused then We reserve the right to terminate the delegate account.
All delegate details supplied by the delegate or their agent will be stored in the MJM database. This is not available to anyone outside of the Company.
Occasionally We may send you promotional or marketing literature by email or post. If you do not wish to receive this information then you must inform us in writing/email and we will remove you from our distribution list.
A delegate has the option to sign up to our free monthly email newsletter 'MZINE'. To sign up for this you must either indicate on the day of your Public Training Course that you wish to receive it, or you may sign up on our website. If at any time you wish to no longer receive the MZINE then you may unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of any of the MZINEs that you have received. You will automatically be removed from that mailing list.
